Simpler Solar Systems founder Al Simpler has been a leading force in solar energy technology for over 30 years. Al began working with Solar Energy Systems as a hobby in 1975 and founded Simpler Solar Systems in 1980 with the construction of a solar powered office and manufacturing facility in Tallahassee; the first of it’s kind in the U.S.

As a consultant, Al Simpler reviews building and renovation projects for cities, homes, and offices worldwide. His three stage design process cuts energy consumption and fuel costs and eliminates the need for environmentally harmful and costly power sources for the future.

Simpler Solar Systems has designed over 7,100 projects in 68 countries, including the world’s first Photovoltaic Medical Facility in Zaire and America’s largest solar powered lighting system for public parks in Venice, Florida. Our innovative products have been featured in television and numerous print articles over the years.
